Eons Ago
a past where womyn lived as the female head of tribal lineage
welding marked ability to act with strength, to uphold justice, and
were given to the healing arts of Gaia and those creatures dwelling
within her most loving arms
while vast prisms graced the skies
and crystals, like tiny shards of ice, danced so very gaily
off molten waves of other worlds unknown
eons ago
womyn met in what was known as a circle of life
with the centre being their perpetual and sacred universe- cone of
power
their north came the earth energy and
and to the west came the energy of water
and to the south came the fire energy
and to the east came the air energy
and throughout the meeting
they held hands and danced with unbridled joy of simply living and
breathing
at one with Mother Gaia and her children….at one with each sparking
crystal.

BOLD beautiful Lesbian
holding my hand
walking sprightly with me
down the Drive
we
unfettered by the stares we usually
garner in the Kit’s Area, enjoy each other
like minded
women
walk as well hand in hand
women “from the club” laugh
and live normally
like everyone else
here
on the Drive.
baby dykes so cute you wanna
hug ‘em

Out of the closet
And into the fire
Hotter than hell the flames lick my face
As my lover
Cools my heels
Out of the closet
And into the sidewalk
Walking as a female looking kind of like a guy
And for once
I am not afraid to be me
Not afraid to be me with you
My spirit
Relaxes
Within the caresses of this chosen way of being divine
Listen to the warbling of a newly made dyke
Singing tenor
And playing the harp
Laying quietly amongst the cd’s that rock my world

changes this formerly straight space once inhabited by somebody I didn’t really know.
